AIME began offering piano examinations in 1993.
During that time our syllabus have developed into one of the broadest and most
accessible exams, with a proven history of encouraging students to practise and
achieve their goals.
We offer numerous advantages:
- Our examiners travel to your teachers home or studio, to give you a more
relaxed exam experience
- We offer excellent exam feedback via detailed (and scored) reports
- We allow students a wide flexibility of choices, whilst maintaining a
genre-based approach to music selection
- We utilize the latest technology to offer mp3 backings for the iPod
generation
- Our exams are inexpensive. By carefully planning the syllabus, and through
our internet support, students can use a range of public domain material for
free. We also provide much of the usual support options (recordings, scale
sheets, flash cards etc) for free, too!
